About Vidya Learning

Radhika Dutta has been in the tutoring business for over 17 years. She has taught children from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

She began tutoring as a high school student and became passionate about teaching children. She has tutored privately and through tutoring companies, and has worked at child development centres, where she was trained to help children under 5 build early learning skills.

​

Radhika finished high school in the United States, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. At university she tutored and mentored college students and children in nearby schools. She was elected Programming Director of the university's Youth and Education Program, and was a preceptor and mentor at the Sanger Learning Center, helping students in Biochemistry.

She was also a member of the Literacy Council in Houston, Texas, where she mentored and taught new immigrants, helping children and adults with English and public speaking. She continues to teach ESL students and gives them the extra support they need.

Radhika is passionate about volunteering, teaching and mentoring, and she works with both children and adults.
